Day 01: Cusco – Ollantaytambo – Abra Malaga – Santa María

The tour begins with pickup at 6:30am from your Hotel. We’ll head for Málaga Pass, sit back and enjoy the spectacular scenery as we ascend to 4350 meters above sea level at the pass, we’ll have a panoramic view of the city of Cusco, the immensity of the Sacred Valley, and the beautiful landscape of the jungle brow. We’ll begin our down-hill biking adventure we will descend for  3 hrs., passing through small villages, orchards, rivers and streams, reaching  the town Huamanmarca around 1:30 pm. Aprox. Then our private bus will take the group for 30 min. to the town of Santa Maria, where we will have lunch. After a short break, we will begin a new adventure, the river rafting trip will last around 2 hrs (Optional rapids class III-IV) About 30 minutes penetrating the jungle takes you to your accommodation for the evening.  A family owned jungle lodge provides the perfect backdrop to recover from the trek and recount the excitement of the day.


Day 02: Santa María – Santa Teresa

A 7 am wake up finds you shrouded in the mists of the jungle.  After a hearty breakfast your day starts with a short but intense climb to start your section of an authentic Inka Trail, where we will be able to observe animals of the region such as birds, medicinal plants, fruits, and coca fields. Our trail descend to Quellomayo where we stop for lunch after a break we head for 3 hours hiking throught the jungle  until Santa Teresa hot springs after a relaxing bath, will continue walking for 40 min to set up in the hostel, Dinner and enjoy the night.


Day 03: Santa Teresa – Hydroelectric Station - Aguas Calientes

This day we have two choices to enjoy our trek either continue trekking, or choose to fly through the air 150 meters above the ground over rivers and jungle!  The zip line option includes transport to the zip line facility and 5 zips.  Are you brave enough to lean back into the upside down monkey position? Make sure you book your zip line ahead of time to ensure the safest, highest, fastest zips. We’ll stop for lunch upon our arrival at the Hydroelectric station. It will take 3 more hours to arrive at the colorful town of Aguas Calientes, where we’ll have dinner and spend the night in a comfortable hostel. You’ll have time for an optional visit to the Aguas Calientes hot springs.


Day 04: Machu Picchu – Return to Cusco

Your climb to Machu Picchu begins before the sun is up.  Ascend step by step for approximately an hour up the Inca staircase to the formerly lost stronghold of Machu Picchu. The 2-hour guided visit is an unforgettable experience, as our professional guide will recount history enveloping this mysterious and enchanting site. Afterwards, you will have free time to explore the site independently, perhaps climbing up to Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu mountain, the Temple of the Moon, or the Sun Gate.Take your time to explore independently or relax and soak up the site’s ambience, get that perfect picture before making your descent back to Aguas Calientes. Take your train to Ollantaytambo where your transfer will be waiting to take you back to Cusco
